Named for our own Director of Operations, Kris Sheets, the KVA distribution available from Aretta is a clean cut LAMP / Asterisk / FreePBX installation optimized to run in a virtual environment. Designed primarily for Asterisk system integrators with a large number of deployments, it focuses on a stable deployment of Asterisk and related applications without a lot of excess baggage. His expertise with Asterisk includes system configuration, troubleshooting, and high availability (HA) Asterisk systems. Prior to joining Aretta, Kris was at BellSouth (AT&T) for almost a decade in the Digital Services Group where he worked with Lucent, Nortel, Cisco, Tellabs and Redback Equipment. Kris was closely involved in the service, activation, and repair of AT&T's ADSL infrastructure in the South Eastern United States.
